What is Cellulaze?
The procedure for treating cellulite changed completely when Cellulaze was approved by the FDA. It’s currently the first minimally invasive treatment method that addresses the cellulite issue under the skin’s surface. It has become easier to offer our customers real results by helping them get rid of cellulite permanently. Through Cellulaze, we address our clients’ structural problems which cause cellulite – this is why the treatment is permanent. It weakens the fibrous bands that are found below the skin’s surface while stimulating the production of collagen. As a result, cellulite disappears, leaving the skin very smooth.
How does the treatment work?
Usually, we use a tiny handheld device that we place beneath the surface of the skin to liquefy fat and break the fibrous tissue bands that help in the formation of cellulite. To successfully achieve this, we make some few minuscule incisions in the skin so that the pen-sized cannula can pass through. The cannula releases energy directly to the fibrous glands and fat cells. Once the fat is liquefied, we press it out gently. This leaves your skin feeling more relaxed, making it more thick and elastic. All the details are offered during the first one-on-one conversation/consultation.
What you can expect during the treatment
Are you wondering how long the procedure takes? Well, we only require approximately an hour to complete a session. Once we finish the treatment, we allow you to return home to recover. Some side effects include slight bruising or swelling in the treatment area. But, the good news is that recovery takes less time because the procedure is minimally invasive. You will resume your normal activities within days.
Our patients usually notice significant improvements after one session. Then, in the 3-6 months that follow the treatment, our patients start seeing results that keep improving over time. We always remind everyone that the results vary from one person to the other.
Ideal candidates
Cellulaze treatment is perfect for any candidate provided they are in good health but they experience depressions in the buttocks, thighs and/or hips. However, if you have diabetes, active skin infections or varicose veins in areas that are being treated you cannot undergo the treatment.
One misconception most people have is that noticeable cellulite only affects larger women. But, cellulite can appear on your skin, whether you are thin or large. Even the leanest women have cellulite depressions that don’t diminish with exercise or diet.
